Finally it's here! 3 months of waiting!... I can be calm now.hahaha! Well I just found out today that the dvd is not available in my region.. boohoo.. my hopes on watching it on our TV is gone, it depends if my sister will buy me a free region dvd.. or if my brother can fix our dvd player, but anyway I'm just happy that I can finally touch it. and the freebies are great!.. watching it on my laptop wouldn't be so bad.. so yea it's all good ^_^..

For those who have not gotten their copy I'm sure it'll arrive soon! I will still keep visiting YAB Soompi Thread because the extras are not subbed.

So I'm trying to set a new goal in my life... to be useful in my family. They know that they can count me on anything except cooking so they even bother to ask me to cook for them. And I want to break that!

I made kimchi fried rice for my sister 2 days ago for breakfast. I let her be my guinea pig, she didn't tell me how it taste she just gave me a "it's alright rating" meaning it's edible and not yummy.

Last Saturday me and Patty decided to make dinner for my family. Yes this is my first time helping her. It's a team effort so the blame is not all in me. The rice cake was a little soggy and we used the wrong noodles that made the soup thick. err.. I don't even know how to describe it.. but! It taste good! haha.. next time we'll make sure we use the right noodles.. so stay tuned for more fail cooking skills of yssa!

While I was shopping early this afternoon at Koreatown Galleria I found this bottle with medicine tablets inside a little cute store.. and I was like "I've seen this before" ...ah.... A Millionaire's First Love, it's one of your typical korean movie where someone dies at the end. The story of that bottle was when Hyun Bin start giving gifts to the girl because he knows that she's gonna die sooner or later and he can't do anything about it.. all he can do is to make memories.. While they where eating he gave a bottle with hundreds of medicines inside and tells her to only take one pill a day then she runs to her room crying while opening each pills to read them, yes inside the pill is a piece of paper with words of encouragement written on it. Hyun Bin went after her and saw what she's doing and he was like "I told you one pill a day" and she replied "I'm afraid that I might not able to read them all"... *tears* And now it's so popular that one tiny bottle cost $7.. also the necklaces in the famous dramas are very popular.

And I'm predicting that the new "IT" thing is....*drum roll* Pig-rabbit doll!!


And I'm so buying one if ever they'll make one.

The Origin of Pig-Rabbit Doll.
TaeKyung got lost in the fields because a pig was chasing him. Minam went after looking for him the whole day. She found him around noon and its about to get dark and TaeKyung have night blindness, even if they have a flashlight it's not enough.. and they're near the river so basically there's no electricity around them.

When TaeKyung hears a rattling sound coming from the grass he asks Minam if there's a Mountain Rabbit there and Minam answers that there could be because they're close to the mountains. TaeKyung freaks out and told her that he hates rabbits then Minam asks him "why? rabbits are cute and innocent" then he answered her "they might look innocent but they bite.. they're dangerous! which reminds me of you Minam." and he calls her a rabbit starting from that time.



Then the pig comes along when they went back to Seoul. Minam is having a problem with controlling her emotions and Manager An teaches her the pressure points (you press a part of your body to control your feelings i.e. ears when you eat too much) and the pressure point for controlling your emotion is...nose! which ends up looking like a pig. He told her that she will look funny but that's the only way so she took his advice. She went to TaeKyung's room with her finger in his nose and TaeKyung asks her if she's mocking her about the pig that chases him. Minam doesn't give an exact answer and tells him to ignore her nose because she really needs to do it. Then that's how Pig-rabbit was born.


He gave her a stuff toy because he wants to return the pin that Yoo He Yi took from her and he's to shy to give it to her personally so he thinks of an idea to give it back without looking like a babo. CUUUTE!

While I was checking AAtheory I stumbled on this entry.. I think it's a really a cute and a unique idea.. thumbs up to them!.. Now it makes me wanna go to Taiwan.lol!

But would you eat something that looks like your shit?.. Well a real poop doesn't look like this.. only in cartoons we can find this kind of poop shape.

I don't lose my appetite even if someone is talking about nasty stuff while eating only, I'm only sensitive with the smell of the place so Modern Toilet is a hit for me :D

I know I'm such a babo for wanting a pajama for christams or even for my birthday rather than any useful stuff.. But I really want it! The first time I saw Kim Byul with a chicken pajama in Baby and I.. I know in my heart that I need to have it!.. (yes in my heart.. in the deepest part ofr my heart ^^)

 

I'm not really obsess with clothes, shoes or bags like any normal girl should be, but whenever I like something it always expensive T_T..-Why? If I can find a cheaper one I will go for that, but they're the only one who carries it.

My sister already knows that I want an animal PJ.. and I'm not even shy to tell her to buy it for me on my 18th birthday since I'm not having a debut :))..  But I doubt that she will buy me one. My family only buy me stuffs that I can use thousand times, and very useful for my daily living... T_T but I'm still hoping!

Finally! some BigBang goodies!... Taeyang and Daesung almost sang the whole song and I don't have any complaints with that.. not at all. I love their voice.. I love T.O.P.'s charisma and G-Dragon's randomness.. kekeke. I'm loving all the song that YG released today..

I'm getting a lot of goodies today.. Park Bom's digital single, You're Beautiful Episode 7,photos, previews, spoilers.. Mblaq's reality show (not yet sure if this is a good news for me, we'll see) Big Bang's digital single! and I hope to see more :D

Didn't expect him to release a Music Video for this song. Did they change their mind on making a MV for "A boy"?.. I both love the songs because that's the kind of music I listen to (minus the rap) before I got involved to K-pop. It's nice to see various songs in his first solo album.. it only shows how versatile he is.

And it reminds me so much of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory... The hat and the scenario... hmmm.. do you think he got the idea from that movie?.. anyway I'm satisfied with the MV... it's simple but nice.. makes you wanna focus more on the song =D. I wonder if he will still release an MV for "A Boy".. I heard that that song was written by himself and it's kinda like his story.. he started singing ever since he was a little kiddo.

That's why I like them.. Next year will be a bigger bang with their comeback!.. This year they focus more on their Solo Activities and releasing an album in Japan..

I'm always curious about them since Rain announced that he's building an idol boy group. Last summer a lot of girl groups and girl solo singer had debuted and now it's the guys turn. (there's still few girl groups that will debut this season but it doesn't get my attention) B2ST came first them MBLAQ followed by Child of Empire and so on. I guess those three will be battling while the rest... will rest.lol!




Their photo shoot for Nylon made me root for them. It made me think "Ah...another big bang? or is it half big bang half 2pm?." They look manly enough for me to get convince that they are good and pushed aside the fact that they should have a good voice first because they are singers and not models or actors. Kpop mostly produce pretty boy singers and less manly type. I think DBSK, Big Bang and 2pm have the manly image as a boy group (those three are not active right now T_T) and it looks like MBLAQ will be following their path.


They released their album yesterday and also released "Oh Yeah" MV.. Oh yeah has not yet sinking in to me.. I guess I need to hear it over and over again. G.O.O.D. Luv is the best song among the three... it's gives you the Last Song Syndrome. But I really got disappointed when they showed us their album concept... vampire-ish look is not my type and I'm okay with man liner as long as they don't overdo it (but they did) I didn't like 2PM's outfit for "I hate you", I though they will be the first and last to do it.. but as I said earlier.. they're kinda hald big bang half 2pm.. or more like "more 2pm and a little bit of big bang". I don't know if I'll get used to their look.. I hope they stayed in their first concept.. well let's see, maybe it'll work for them.

And and! I'm falling for Byung Hee!...his voice, his looks... waaaah!... I wanna see them with less make up to see their gorgeous faces! Please! And I love his part in "Oh Yeah". Watch the mv here:

Finally! Their first ever variety show appearance. I feel like Minji and Dara are the most excited ones to do variety shows. Actually both of them did all the talking than CL and Bom. CL looks like she's being careful with her words while Bom looks like she doesn't care what's happening.. haha! she cracks me up! She looks sleepy the whole time... or maybe that's just her eyes.

1) Last night before SBS Strong Heat aired I was re-watching "My Name Is Sandara Park".. I don't know how I ended up doing that. But yea.. when I first saw the episode where she sang Arirang, I really thought that she sang it well. And that gave me hope that she will be fine joining a girl group.

2)I really got jealous when she told them that she went noraebang with Se7en and G-dragon. I remember seeing a Se7en Poster at her room in My Name is Sandara Park. I wonder how she felt when YG called her to be a trainee in his company.


3)Bom made me laugh when she was explaining how neat freak CL was. I think I can relate how GD feels when he copies Bom. haha!.. And Leeteuk nice adlib! You really are from Boom's academy.. he's becoming like Boom little by little.


4)I hope she didn't just pick Brian because she was sitting beside her. Brian looks really good for me. I don't know if they'll match.. but maybe Bom can learn how to loosen up with Brian. hahaha! :)) If Brian didn't turn out to be a singer he would pass as a gagman. =)

It's been nearly a year and a half since his first solo debut, but now Big Bang member Taeyang returns with concept photos for his comeback.

He'll be returning with "Where U At" on the 15th after his hits "Prayer" and "Only Look At Me" from his first solo mini-album titled "HOT". Since his solo debut he's been receiving great praise and was even dubbed the "lead singer of all pop idol groups". Fellow composer and former leader of 1TYM, Teddy, revealed that it will be big as Taeyang's past solo hits, and also 2NE1's "Lollipop", "Fire", and "I Don't Care".

Taeyang who has surprisingly never had a girlfriend before, sings about finding his girlfriend in the future wherever she may be. The story is said to be filled with passion and a lot of his heart.

YG Entertainment revealed that Taeyang will not be making any special stage performances and also will not appear on air to promote the song. The reason behind this is because he will also be releasing a 2nd single titled "Wedding Dress" on the 11th and plans for that will extend towards the end of the year.

Taeyang will release his second solo album this mid october and I'm so excited for it! His first solo album was worth buying for even if it contains 6 songs. I love the way his voice and made me like him more when I found out that he's a Christian, and not just  a professing Christian, you'll know that he has a relationship with the Lord. Maybe he's not just very vocal about it unlike Choi Si Won of Super Junior. I'm 100 % sure that he will not fail us this October. "Look At Me" and "Prayer" was a home run for me. Though I anticipate the "Wedding Dress" Music Video than the "Where U at".. but we'll see!.To refresh our minds from what Taeyang brought to us last year.

People call them the 2nd F.T. island.. and I kinda disagree with that. I like F.T. Island don't get me wrong. It's just that.. there's something different about them that I can't put in words.

I wish they release a music video with a clearer audio (because I can't find one). I feel like I've heard "now or never" before.. but don't know where exactly.

I love Yonghwa's voice... I wanna hear him sing in You're Beautiful drama series. I know I'm not gonna have the 2nd guy syndrome because I want Jang Geun Suk to end up with Park Shin Hye. heheheh..I don't know if I should put them in the banner of Korean Music because I haven't heard them sing korean songs and they debuted in Japan.. but their company is FC entertainment (a Korean company) and all of them are korean... so yea.. I'm confuse.

I moved on with my addiction on Choco Pie and Milk!.. Last Sunday after church me, my brother and my sister were craving for some Yakult so we asked our dad if we can go to Koreatown Plaza before heading home.. why Koreatown? because they carry the cheapest Yakult in Los Angeles! In Food for Less it cost $2.75 while in Koreatown it's just $0.59! it's a huge difference! I don't know why they sell it cheaper...

So yea we bought 6 packs of yakult(36 pcs) and I guess my brother was so happy that he even told us to buy more stuff in the Korean grocery store. And that's how "Oh Yes (o-ye-sue)" and I met. The best ever! I thought it will be like any other choco cake.. but heck no! it's waay different!. We didn't know that it tasted that good so we just bought one box and now there's no more left T_T everyone in our family likes it.

We need to go get our "oh yes" and yakult next week!

Last night at our midweek Bible study an old filipina lady came and it's my first time seeing her there and so me and my sister talked to her after the study and all then when it's time for her to leave I unconsciously grab her hand in give her a "mano po", like my hands have its own mind. Both of us were shocked on what I just did then she just smiled at me.

After that incident it made me miss greeting my parents, aunts, uncle and grandparents with "mano po".. My Grandparents would always say "bless you" after we "mano" to them.

And again it made me think. When did I stop doing "mano po" to my parents? Patty and I used to run over the screen door when we hear our parents' car coming to "mano" for them but I can't remember when we stopped? and why?

It seems more like when you reach high school "mano" becomes only for people that has "grey hair" because sometimes people get offended and all. Well that's what I think.

People in my peers what age did you stop "mano po-ing" to your parents or to any adults... or do you still do it??
